Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I’m a devoted husband, father to three active children and a 25 year veteran of the home building industry. I enjoy woodworking, music and gardening and I’m passionate about mutual aid and social justice. My experience in all phases of home construction, including both modern and historical techniques, gives me unique insight when it comes to recognizing defects, malfunctions and maintenance issues found in the many different styles of homes built in various eras dating back to the late 1800s. I have a special knowledge and appreciation of the classic Craftsman, Victorian and Queen Anne style homes found in many parts of Seattle and the surrounding cities.
My mission is to ensure that my clients have a solid understanding of the condition of their homes, the functions of the major systems within, and an awareness of any major defects or safety issues that need to be addressed. For most people a home is the biggest purchase they will make in their lifetimes, so whether it’s pre- or post-offer, after closing or even months or years later, let me give you the piece of mind that comes with knowing everything you need to know about your house.
